Signs in The Witcher 3
Signs are Geralt's five magical tools for defence, damage, control, traps and dialogue alternatives.
Short answer. Start with Quen for survival, then specialize according to the problem: Igni for damage and regeneration control, Yrden for specters, Aard for crowd control and Axii for manipulation or dialogue.
