01 / Prerequisites

Prepare before leaving

  • ✓Start the relevant Scavenger Hunt.
  • ✓Keep rare monster and crafting materials.
  • ✓Unlock a craftsman who can make the current tier.

02 / Route

Follow the path in order

  1. 01

    Pick the build first

    Feline supports fast attacks, Griffin supports signs, Ursine supports strong attacks and survival, and Wolven is the flexible hybrid.

  2. 02

    Complete one base set

    Recover all four armor diagrams and both swords. A partial set rarely gives a clean picture of the build.

  3. 03

    Upgrade before collecting alternatives

    The next tier of your chosen set is usually more valuable than starting a second school from scratch.

  4. 04

    Prepare Grandmaster materials

    Late-game upgrades have expensive shared materials. Plan the pieces you will actually wear before spending rare components.

  5. 05

    Reforge the appearance

    Use Yoana or Hattori to keep the best stats while wearing a preferred appearance. Dyes from Blood and Wine carry through reforging.

03 / Common mistakes

Avoid the expensive reset

Do not buy or craft multiple complete schools before testing whether the set bonus actually fits your skills.

The best item-level piece is not always better than a complete set with the bonus your build needs.

Keep appearance-unlock items long enough to register them before selling the equipment.
